Students are welcome to fika twice a month and hear a researcher talk about an article about the cutting edge of research. The format is informal and open-ended discussions are welcome.
During the Career Fair on February 12, 2025, a large number of our students met 16 exhibitors and took part in 7 talks and a panel discussion. “Mathematics and physics in work life” is a golden opportunity for students to meet their future employers and for the participating companies to meet prospective employees. The day took place in Albano and was a joint event between Fysikum and the Departments of Mathematics, Astronomy and Meteorology.
Fysikum has three student ambassadors Bee Crinnion, Oruba Abu-Hammam and Jeehong Lee. The first two are bachelor students and Jeehong is in her last semester of the Medical Physics program. She is working on her master's project and tells us more about her studies, her ambassadorship and when she was Lucia 2024 at AlbaNova.
