We offer a broad selection of specialized courses held in English that can be taken both as freestanding courses or as part of one of our Master's programmes in Physics, Theoretical Physics, Computational Physics or Medical Radiation Physics.

Students are welcome to fika twice a month and hear a researcher talk about an article about the cutting edge of research. The format is informal and open-ended discussions are welcome.
Fysikum has three student ambassadors Bee Crinnion, Oruba Abu-Hammam and Jeehong Lee. The first two are bachelor students and Jeehong is in her last semester of the Medical Physics program. She is working on her master's project and tells us more about her studies, her ambassadorship and when she was Lucia 2024 at AlbaNova.
Eleonora Svanberg wants to change the perception of maths and inspire more young girls to take up the subject. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematical Physics at the University of Oxford and is a passionate advocate for gender equality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths).
Eleonora Svanberg studied physics on the Bachelor's programme. She was also Fysikum's student ambassador and communicated on our social media. She has since completed her Master's degree at Cambridge and will now do her PhD at Oxford. In between, she has received several awards and honours and has written a book.
