Tisus – Test in Swedish for university studies

Tisus is a qualifying test in Swedish for university and college studies in Sweden. It is recognised by all the universities in Sweden as a statement of eligibility regarding Swedish language proficiency.

Tisus is an examination at the advanced level and designed according to needs expressed by students and university teachers.

It is intended for anyone with an upper secondary school diploma from a foreign country, who is planning to apply for academic studies in Sweden and who lacks a certificate in Swedish.

The Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism at Stockholm University is responsible for the test.
