Stockholm University ranks 167 in the QS ranking
Stockholm University is placed 167th in the QS World University Rankings 2027, which was presented on June 18.

Among Swedish higher education institutions, Stockholm University is in fourth place, Lund University is number one followed by KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Uppsala University.
The QS Rankings is published annually by British Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The rankings are based on various indicators where academic reputation carry the most weight. Other indicators are, among other things, citations per faculty, employer reputation, faculty student ratio, employability and sustainability. Stockholm University ranks 40th in the world in the area “international research network”.
This year Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) maintains its place at the top with Imperial College London and Stanford University on a shared second place.
