About me
Alexandra Buylova joined the Department of Political Science in July 2020 as a Postdoctoral Researcher on a “Pathways to Carbon Neutrality” project. Her research focuses on national decarbonization actions and policies, including carbon dioxide removal technologies, carbon border adjustment mechanisms, and also scrutinizing the role of the state in climate action more broadly. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from Oregon State University (2018), where she focused on studying public risk perceptions and survey methodology. She received a MA in Political Science from Idaho State University (ISU) (2014) and a BA in International Studies from ISU (2011).
