About me
I am a hydrology PhD student who is working on improving observations of wetland hydrological regimes using remote sensing. I use a combination of optical and SAR imagery along with deep learning tools to capture seasonal water availability in Sweden’s most important wetlands. One of my particular interests is water dynamics in northern boreal wetlands; a region which is vastly understudied. Determining what factors affects and are affected by wetland hydrological dynamics is of great interest to a range of stakeholders, and by improving our understanding of hydrology in wetland environments we are able to better manage them so that they can sustain a rich variety of ecosystem services. My supervisor is Dr. Fernando Jaramillo.
