About me
I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Criminology since 2025. My research concerns the relationship between digital technologies and crime, with a particular focus on online platforms ranging from open forums to hidden spaces on the dark web.
My work examines how individuals engage in crime in online environments and the social and technical factors that shape these practices. I am interested in both cyber-dependent crimes, which rely on technological infrastructures, and cyber-enabled crimes, where technology amplifies existing criminal activity. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, I seek to better understand the actors, motivations, and environments involved in cybercrime, and to reflect on what these developments mean for criminological theory and crime prevention.
