I am typically interested in questions across the fields of disease ecology, sexual selection, animal behaviour, and evolutionary parasitology. For the last several years I've been using the guppy (a small tropical freshwater fish native to Trinidad and Tobago) and its parasitic Gyrodactylus spp. parasites. Pleasingly, Göran Malmberg described many parasites in this genus in this very department! So it's nice to be bringing them home in a way.
