The aims of the project are to assess the role of green and blue environments for health and resilience to effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and changes in behaviors.

Green and blue environments are fundamental to environmental sustainability and contribute to a variety of ecosystem services that directly or indirectly affect human health and sustainability.

The Swedish Longitudinal Occupational Survey of Health (SLOSH) is a unique prospective study on work environment and health. It is expected to provide a basis for improvements of work environment and to contribute to a better understanding regarding work-related ill-health in Sweden and other countries.

The project "Green cognition: on the links between sustainability factors in the environment and human sustainability with regard to health and behavior" develops environmental data and examines the importance of environmental exposures in the living environment and more.

Work-related adverse social behaviors, including violence/threats of violence, bullying, and sexual harassment are remarkably prevalent in working life. Still, high quality evidence on health consequences, especially physical health outcomes and mortality, and on determinants, is scarce.

As people work to older ages, maintaining good health and work ability is essential for a sustainable workforce. Cardiometabolic diseases (CMD), including type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, remain major causes of disability and early retirement.

Laborocto is a network collaboration between eight Forte-funded programs on work-life research. The network is aimed at long-run promotion of work-life research. Around 100 researchers at all career stages from more than 10 disciplines take part in the network.
