About me

Linda Magnusson Hanson Med.Dr, researcher och Associate professor at the Epidemiology Unit, Stress Research Institute at the Deparment of Psychology and SLOSH Study Manager. Lindas research mainly focus on associations between various organizational and psychosocial work characteristics and health outcomes such as poor mental health, pain, cardiometabolic diseases, and mortality, and what can explain such relationships. The organizational and psychosocial work characteristics include e.g. demands, control, support at work, long working hours, organizational changes, job insecurity, and social stressors such as work-related violence/threats of violence, bullying and sexual harassment which will be if particular focus in forthcoming studies. The studies are mainly based on longitudinal data from the Swedish Longitudinal Occupational Survey of Health (SLOSH) lead by the Epidemiology Unit at the Stress Research Institute, but also on similar data from other countries such as Denmark, Finland, UK and Australia, through international collaborations.
