About me
I have been a doctoral student at the Department of Social Work at Stockholm University since September 2025. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Linköping University, Campus Norrköping, and I also have a Master’s degree qualifying me as a licensed healthcare social worker (hälso- och sjukvårdskurator) from Södertörn University.
Previously, I have worked in services related to homelessness, LSS group homes (supported housing for individuals with disabilities), special residential homes for young people (under the Social Services Act, SoL), and as a social worker in child and youth services.
My research focuses on suicide-related grief and life after the loss for the bereaved. The dissertation also examines the significance that peer-led support groups may have for recovery, well-being, and grieving processes.
