My phD research explores the oeuvre of Yu Rongjun (喻荣军) - playwright and artistic director of the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre (SDAC, 上海话剧艺术中心) - with a specific focus on his narration of contemporary Chinese society.
Research interests: Contemporary Chinese drama and literature; Italian-Chinese theatrical connections; narratives.
Research areas: Sociology of Art; Theatre Studies.
