Director of Advanced Corporate Tax course, 15 hp.
The years 2006 - 2012 I worked as a tax consultant full time (law firm Wistrand and auditing firm EY). In 2012, I returned to the academy. 2018 - 2019 I worked as an adjunct judge at the Stockholm Administrative Court of Appeal. Recent work covers corporate tax and CSR and rule of law aspects on taxation and tax planning. In my scientific approach I draw on some experiences from political science and economic behaviourism.
My research covers Corporate Tax Law and EU Tax Law. My doctoral thesis was presented in 1997. It is a study of the tax consequences of business restructuring. I apply an economic efficiency criterion for assessing whether the (then) existing law was economically efficient. The years 1998-1999, I was a visiting scholar at the Centre for European Legal Studies "CELS", University of Cambridge (UK) and a visiting fellow at Clare Hall College. My research resulted in the book "EU Tax Law", a project with (now) Supreme Court Justice Kristina Ståhl. The book is now in 3rd edition (with Kristina Ståhl, Maria Hilling and Jesper Öberg), Iustus publishers.
