My interest is effects of contaminants combined to other environmental stressors related to climate on benthic macrofauna organisms living in the sediment. I have been running a monitoring program concerning effects of envrionmental stressors along the coast in the Baltic since 1994 and we have developed indicators related to environmental stress. These indicators have been adopted by other countries along the Baltic Sea.
