About me
I am a senior lecturer in statistics at Stockholm University.
My PhD is in Mathematical statistics from Lund University in 1993, and since then I worked until 2009 at Lund U as a senior lecturer and professor. I then spent a year at AstraZeneca as a biostatistician, before moving to KTH as a professor between 2010 and 2012. In 2012 I joined the financial company Lynx Asset Management as a quantitative researcher. Since 2026 my main employment is with SU, while retaining a part-time engagement with Lynx.
My research interests are, broadly speaking, in statistical inference for stochastic processes, in computational statistics, and in portfolio construction. For a complete list of publications, see my page on ResearchGate.
