Reader in History, Deputy Head of Department
I teach modern history at all levels. My research focuses on the history of racism and eugenics, welfare state and migration, and the history of international development aid. I am currently working, together with Dr Urban Lundberg, on the project The Road from Tidewater Inn: The United Nations Second Development Decade and the Making of a Post-Colonial World Order, 1969–1980, funded by the Swedish Research Council.
