Research group The Research Group in Psychosocial Work
The psychosocial dimension of social work is represented in social work education, but above all central in our specialist programs at the advanced level, the Psychotherapy Programme and the Master’s program in health care counselling.
Our research areas concern psychosocial support and recovery, the role and function of the counselor in health care, psychotherapy and treatment, user / patient participation, attitudes towards social and mental problems, crisis, trauma and grief, institutional care of children, young people and adults and professional support to family members.
