Feminist Economics, 7,5 credits
The course gives an advanced introduction to the interdisciplinary research field feminist economics.

The course addresses classical and contemporary theories and concepts in feminist economics, as well as the differences between the feminist economic tradition of thought and mainstream economic sciences. In addition to a historical overview of the field, the course highlights key issues in feminist economics in an exploration of three themes: the interplay across time between reproduction, production and consumption, the contemporary valuation and distribution of care work and finally, accounting and control. During the course, the students are encouraged to explore the ways in which feminist economics can contribute to developing their own research interests and disciplines.
