Abstract
The overall aim of this project is to analyse the effects of housing policies on family dynamics. A hypothesis is that the ambitious European programs on housing policies and the creation of various forms of social housing created effects on fertility and family building processes. A goal is to identify and explain the connections between various housing policy instruments and their effect on family dynamics. Another goal is to identify differences in housing policies and family dynamics between various European regions, for instance between the former Western and Eastern Europe
