Human activity is producing greenhouse gases, and as a consequence global temperatures and ocean heat content are rising.

Jonas Nycander, professor at the Department of Meteorology, Stockholm University, together with John Hassler, professor at the Institute for international economic studies, Stockholm University and Per Krusell, professor at the Institute for international economic studies, Stockholm University, challenge our political representatives in the European Union and those engaged in the ongoing negotiations to take steps towards introducing a tax on carbon dioxide emission.
