Arctic Ocean Dynamics Workshop at Stockholm University

A team of experts on Arctic Ocean dynamics gathered in Stockholm to discuss some current scientific challenges at the end of October 2018. About 10 international and 15 national scientists participated in the workshop.

The overarching theme was to review current observational knowledge and mechanistic models of the Arctic Ocean. A specific focus was on the dynamics of sea ice and freshwater in the Arctic Ocean and its relation to natural variations of the atmospheric circulation and to climate change.
