Teacher's Day focusing on pedagogics

Previously, the theme for the Teacher's Day has usually being related to our course program and its content. But 2014, the focus of MISU Teacher's Day was University Pedagogics and the day became a success.

On Wedensday March 12, 2014, all teachers from the Department of Meteorology (MISU) gathered at Ersta Konferens & Hotell, to talk about teaching and pedagogics.

Tony Burden from Department of Mathematics and Science Education (MND) was invited as a guest speaker and talked about "Why Bother?" and "Research-based instruction: some basic principles and some concrete examples".

On the agenda was also some group discussions and talks about how to move forward with our new Bachelor programs.
