Many journals charge extra for open access. However, the Stockholm University library has signed agreements with a number of publishers that decrease or remove this cost. Some examples are PLOS, PNAS, Taylor & Frances and Springer, see full list in link below.
When you publish an article, you must notify the journal yourself that we have this agreement in order to take advantage of it. Thus, always check with this list when you submit an article.
