Tarfala Research is part of the Department of Physical Geography and Quaternary Geology at Stockholm University. The station is beautifully situated in Lapland in an arctic / alpine environment.
Here are conducted glaciological, hydrological, meteorological and climatological research. The station has the capacity to accommodate groups up to 25 people. The staff consists of 2-5 people.
