About the center

KRC supports chemistry teachers throughout Swedish primary and secondary school with the aim of promoting stimulating, interesting and up-to-date teaching. The support for the chemistry teachers includes e.g. to prepare and provide advice on experiments and other teaching materials, to advise on safety and chemical matters, to initiate and carry out continuing education for the school's teachers, and to promote increased contacts between the school and chemical-based industry.

CheSSE - Chemical Safety in Science Education

The website chesse.org is the result of a project 2020-2023, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. It consists of condensed, up-to date information about chemical safety in science education, for science and chemistry teachers, head of schools and science teacher educators.
