Research seminar and meeting with Theron Pummer (St Andrews)
Theron works mainly in normative and applied ethics. He has done important work on both deotological and consequentialist ethics. His latest book is on the ethics of rescue. You will find some more information about his research here:

Theron will be visiting the Institute for Futures Studies on May 29th where he will be giving a talk at the regular research seminar. In the afternoon, he is free to discuss your PhD-projects.
This event is optional, but highly recommended, especially if you do work in normative or applied ethics.
