‘Olympics for Whom? Protest, Mega-Planning and Possibility in Rio De Janeiro’
Daniela Lazoroska, PhD candidate Department of Social Anthropology, University of Copenhagen, completed her master at the Department of Social Anthropology, Stockholm University in 2013 and was awarded the Stockholmia prize by the Association S:t Erik for her master thesis about a youth organisation in Husby. Her new project deals with the struggles of a Rio de Janeiro favela facing eviction due to the planning of the upcoming Olympic Games.
