Att samla, spara och säkra tillgången på fröer - en global angelägenhet

Annika Rabo, Professor Emerita vid Socialantropologiska institutionen, och Beppe Karlsson, Professor i Socialantropologi, är redaktörer för den nyligen publicerade boken "Seedways - The circulation, control and care of plants in a warming world".

Boken handlar om fröer i ett både historiskt och nutida perspektiv. Att samla, spara, ta hand om samt säkra tillgången på olika fröer har blivit en global angelägenhet i en värld med accelererande klimatförändringar, expansionen av monokultur och därigenom förlust av biologisk mångfald. Boken är resultatet av ett internationellt symposium på Kungl. Vitterhetsakademien i Stockholm.
