
According to the QS Ranking 2020, sociology – including demography – at Stockholm University is still ranked top-50, 37th place, in the world and top 12 in Europe. Last year we were ranked as number 41.
The Department of Sociology at Stockholm University also continues to be the top university within Sweden for the subject area sociology. We are also ranked as number two in the Nordic countries and top 12 in Europe.

Together with Times Higher Education World University Rankings and the Academic Ranking of World Universities, QS is one of the most influential and trusted ranking lists.
