Information about the salary review at Stockholm University.

Local RALS-agreement from October 1, 2023

The Swedish Employers' Authority has signed an agreement on salarys and employment conditions with OFR/S, P, O and Seko. The agreements are valid from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2025. At the same time, negotiations have been carried out with Saco-S with the aim of further developing the permanent agreements. At Stockholm University, a two-year local agreement has been signed up to and including September 30, 2025, with revision dates on October 1, 2023, and October 1, 2024.


Salary review on October 1, 2023

For this year's salary audit, the audit date is October 1, 2023. According to the schedule, salary is paid in connection with the salary payment on March 25, 2024, with retroactivity from October 1, 2023. In conversations before the salary audit, the manager and employee have a conversation about the employee's performance during the past year with salary criteria as a starting point.

Dialogue between Managers and Employees

Individual salary determination requires dialogue between managers and employees.

Individual salary determination requires dialogue between managers and employees. All employees should have an annual performance review with their immediate manager. Managers are advised to offer their employees a salary review meeting preceding a salary review. Following the salary review, the employees should be notified of their new salary.

The purpose of the salary review is to:

  • employees must be informed on what grounds the salary is set
  • employees are given feedback on work performed
  • contribute to an understanding of the connection between goals, work effort and salary.

Salary review 2023 – agreements signed

Stockholm University has signed agreements on new individual salaries in the 2023 salary revision. For employees who are unorganised or members of Saco-S and Seko, salaries were paid with the March salary payment and apply retroactively from 1 October 2023.

For employees represented by OFR/S, new salaries will be paid with the April salary payment and apply retroactively from 1 October 2023.

  • Seko: 8 February 2024
  • Saco: 21 February 2024
  • OFR/S: 8 April 2024
