- 08 Feb Online Workshop: Digital Active Learning Would you like to create a teaching and learning context that activates, challenges and motivates your students? Active learning is an umbrella concept for a number of teaching approaches that encourage students to engage in the various steps in the learning process. These approaches and methods can also be used in digital environments by combining synchronous and asynchronous teaching. In the workshop we investigate and discuss what interactive and collaborative teaching options are offered with Zoom and Athena as the basis.

How can pre-recorded videos change teaching? What happens when students can see recordings at any time or only for a certain period? How can the students' own video recordings be used in the course?

- 21 Apr Workshop: Online discussion and argumentation in teaching In this workshop we will explore how to use asynchronous online discussion and argumentation in teaching. Taking a highly hands-on approach, the workshop will arm participants with different teaching activities and teaching resources that they can make use of for their own lessons, in Athena and other systems. The workshop is a collaboration between Stockholm University and the Singapore University of Social Sciences, co-taught by lecturers from the two Universities.
