Reimbursement for medicines

Reimbursement for medicines can only be requested once a year by emailing ad digital summary from the high-cost database. For 2023, the report is made with a prescription specification according to the previous routine, the last date for submission is March 31, 2024. Holiday supplement

The holiday supplement for OFR and Seko is increased to 0.49 % and is now at the same level as Saco-S.
 

Visits for expectant parents to a maternity care center

If necessary, an employee who is going to become a parent, but is not the pregnant one, may take leave without salary deduction in order to accompany on visits to the maternity care center. At Stockholm University, no limit on the number of visits will apply according to local agreement (the central agreements contain a limit of a maximum of two visits). Entitlement to this leave applies until parental benefit can be paid for the corresponding visits, that is to say, from the sixtieth day before the expected date of birth of the child until the date of delivery.
 

Leave of absence, exams

The right to leave for exams has been removed.
 

Working hours regulations for doctoral students

It has now been clarified that doctoral students have annual working hours just like teachers.
 

Amendments to the Occupational Pension Agreement PA 16

The amendments to the pension agreement include a longer accrual of old-age pension (age 69) and the introduction of a so-called flexible pension. The purpose of the amendments has been to harmonize the terms and conditions for employees belonging to Sections I and II of the PA 16 occupational pension agreement. The changes do not apply to employees born in 1988 or later (Section I). The changes will be introduced with certain transitional provisions for employees born in 1965 or earlier.

Briefly, the changes can be summarized as follows:

Provision for defined contribution occupational pension extended

From 1 January 2024, the provision for the occupational pension will be extended from the month before you turn 65 to the month before you turn 69 if you are still employed.

Employees who have received an occupational pension up to and including the month before they turn 65 will receive payments into an occupational pension from 1 January 2024, as long as they are employed, but no longer than the month before they turn 69.

New part of the occupational pension – Kåpan Flex

Employees born between 1966 and 1987 will receive an increased provision of 1.5 % from 1 January 2024. This deposit is placed in the Kåpan Flex.

Employees born in 1965 and earlier will receive an increased provision of 0.5 % from 1 January 2024. This deposit is placed in the Kåpan Flex.

Payments to Kåpan Flex can be used to reduce working hours from the age of 63.

Partial pension from 1 January 2024

The possibility of partial pension will be removed for those born in 1966 or later. But the possibility is still available for those born before 1965 or earlier. The payment to Kåpan Flex stops if the employer decides on partial pension.
