Dr Claudio Sopranzetti is a social anthropologist and associate professor at the Central European University. His research interests include capitalism, urbanism and social movements in Southeast Asia and Southern Europe. Apart from academic publications, he writes for Al Jazeera and other international media outlets and activist publications. Currently he is conducting research on class fragmentation and recomposition in Italy, and a collaborative research on neo-fascist organisations.
