Own and be owned: archaeological approaches to the concept of possession (2015)
This anthology contains contributions from a workshop on ideas of possession and ownership in archaeology held by the Postdoctoral Archaeology Group (PAG) in the Stockholm Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies.
Papers explore the breadth of ownership in archaeological interpretations, from a tight sense of conferring certain rights and responsibilities, to a mechanism by which identity and values are transferred between persons and objects, to a broader sense of belonging to a group, period, or place. Topics range from Iron Age tattooing to Viking social valuables, from Roman taste to Anglo-Saxon grave robbery, and from Bronze Age rock art to modern folk rituals.
The volume includes a comment by Professor Chris Gosden, University of Oxford, who also acted as workshop discussant.

To Tender Gender: The Pasts and Futures of Gender Research (2012)
The volume contains contributions from a workshop held at the Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies, Stockholm University, in December 2010. The theme of the workshop was the ‘To tender gender’, with the aim of discussing experiences from the history of gender archaeology as well as exploring what’s new and interesting for future research. Ericka Engelstad and Elisabeth Arwill-Nordbladh were the workshop discussants.

Making Sense of Things: Archaeologies of Sensory Perception (2010)
The publication ‘Making Sense of Things - Archaeologies of Sensory Perception’ contains contributions from a workshop held at the Department of Archaeology and Classical Studies, Stockholm university, December 2009. The theme of the workshop was the ‘archaeology of the senses’, and aspired to explore the multi-sensuous dimensions of past worlds. The book consists of seven articles with a commentary by Professor Stephen Houston from Brown University, USA. Professor Houston, a pioneer in the field, was invited as discussant at the workshop.
