We do research and education in Bilingualism. Our research focuses on multilingualism and society, the bilingual individual, and Swedish as a second language.

We provide education at the undergraduate level, advanced level and postgraduate level.

The Centre for Research on Bilingualism is part of the Department for Swedish Language and Multilingualism at Stockholm University.

Fundings for Creative Writing Workshop with Prof. Maria Tumarkin

A Creative Writing Workshop with Professor Maria Tumarkin from the University of Melbourne, School of Culture and Communication, has been granted funds from “Language and Power” Research Group, Stockholm University. Grant application by Postdoc. Natalia Volvach and Prof. Caroline Kerfoot at the Centre for Research on Bilingualism.

Fundings for international symposium Transdisciplinary Potentials of Spectral Landscapes

On 23–25 May, the international symposium "Transdisciplinary Potentials of Spectral Landscapes: Bridging Space, Memory, and Language" took place, arranged by Natalia Volvach, Caroline Kerfoot and Danielle Drozdzewski at Stockholm University. They were granted a total of 192.000 SEK.
