The course addresses how relations between humans and other animals in history can be explored.

How can non-human life be investigated in history? This course gives you resources to analyze historical interactions between humans and other animals. Reaching beyond the idea of the human being the center of history, the course explores different ways of understanding traces of non-human life.

The course is comprised of mandatory seminars.

Assessment
The course is examined by an essay assignment, written in English.
