Vivek Singh receives EMBO-FEBS best poster prize from the organizer Prof. Aleksandra Trifunovic.
Vivek Singh from Amunts lab has been awarded the best poster prize at the EMBO-FEBS international conference ‘Mitochondria in Life, Health and Disease’. The meeting takes place once a year, gathering leading researchers in the field of mitochondrial biology. Vivek’s work entitled ‘Atomic Structure of Human Mitochondrial Ribosome’ was selected out of 85 poster presentations, based on research excellence, innovation, communication, and clarity.
Vivek Singh is a fellow in the REMIX PhD programme by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions that includes 15 labs from Europe. His research in Alexey Amunts’ lab is also funded by the ERC and Wallenberg foundation.
