About the department

Welcome to the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences!

DSV is one of the world’s oldest IT departments. Our academic activities range over a broad field characterised by interdisciplinarity, and focus on developing and adapting the use of IT. The department is located in Campus Kista, right in the midst of a buzzing ICT cluster. This provides us with unique opportunities to link our academic activities to the industry and organisations, and conduct research and education of the highest quality.
