Two research projects at the Department of Human Geography have been granted research funding totaling nearly SEK 6 million, from Formas, research council for sustainable development.

The projects that are granted funds are:
Andrew Byerley, Department of Human Geography, with co-applicants Ulf Jansson and Annika Dahlberg, Department of Physical Geography, to "Walking the Line. Exploring conflicts of rationality between formally scripted pedestrian planning and re-scripting urban green spaces with disobedient desire lines", SEK 2 941 753.
Dominic Power, Department of Human Geography, with co-applicants Andreas Back, Umeå University and Johan Jansson, Uppsala University, for the project "One foot here one foot there: how is sustainable economic development, innovation and working life affected by second home ownership in Sweden?", SEK 2 999145.
