In her dissertation Deaf migrants in Swedish adult education: A linguistic ethnography study (working title), Nora Duggan examines the linguistic situation of adult, deaf migrants in Sweden. A critical sociolinguistic perspective is employed to analyze the complexity of the linguistic usage of deaf migrants, influenced by various linguistic, social, and cultural factors.
