The Italy-Sweden bilateral symposium on Bioelectronics and Sustainability (BEES)

The Italy-Sweden bilateral symposium on Bioelectronics and Sustainability (BEES) is an event co-organized by the Embassy of Italy in Stockholm and Stockholm University, under the patronage of SWETALY and AIMES Center for Advancement of Integrated Medical and Engineering Sciences.

This meeting aims to provide a platform to discuss the new trends in the field of organic bioelectronics. The scope is to gather scientists from the Italian and Swedish scientific communities working on innovative bioelectronic materials, devices, and their applications. The scientific program covers aspects of sustainable synthesis, alternative raw materials, advanced materials, unconventional device fabrication, and related applications in sensing, implantable devices, tissue engineering, energy harvesting, etc.

The event will also include a round table discussion focusing on future initiatives to foster interaction and opportunities to strengthen the bilateral collaboration and possibly set the basis for a partnership program focusing on bioelectronics and sustainable development, to stimulate new collaborations and international initiatives.
