Meeting with Prime Minister of Latvia

Prime Minister of Latvia Ms. Evika Siliņa meets with representative from Section for Baltic Studies

On 25 April 2024, as part of her working visit to Sweden, the Prime Minister of Latvia Ms. Evika Siliņa held a working breakfast with representatives of the Latvian diaspora in various professional fields including research, education, culture, and others. The Section for Baltic Studies at Stockholm University was represented by doctoral student Signe Rirdance, who provided a short briefing on the activities of the department.

The prime minister acknowledged the importance of Baltic Studies in Sweden towards strengthening the bilateral relationship between Sweden and Latvia.
