Defence of doctoral thesis: Comparing theories of pre-linguistic normalization for vowel perception

On the 29 of November 2024, Anna Persson will defend her doctoral thesis in Scandinavian Languages: Comparing theories of pre-linguistic normalization for vowel perception. The Anna Ahlström and Ellen Terserus Foundation for PhD's has decided to award Natalia Volvach at Stockholm University a two-year research scholarship for Doctor of Philosophy 2024–2025: Ukrainian Voices in Sweden. "Countering Voicelessness: Lived experiences of language among war refugees from Ukraine in Sweden".
