Mark Rhinard and Sebastian Larsson co-edit this new book examining whether Nordic countries share discourses and practices related to protecting their populations from security threats. The book focuses on the notion of ‘societal security’ and explores whether it is a distinctive Nordic idea, and what it means in practice. The book caps the department’s participation in NordSTEVA, a Nordic-wide consortium on security policies funded by NordForsk. The book can be downloaded free of charge via Routledge, here: https://www.taylorfrancis.com/books/e/9781003045533.
