Department management

The Department of Special Education is headed by our head of department who is elected every third year. The managent group also feature a deputy head of department, an assistant head of department, an adminitrative manager as well as four directors of studies.

The administrative division of the Department of Special Education offers operative support in issues regarding education, research, economy, staff and communication.

The Department Board is directed by the Head of department as chairperson and the Deputy head of the department as deputy chairperson. The commissioners represent the various staff categories: lecturers, researchers and administrative/technical staff. The board also consists of student representatives appointed by the counsel of doctoral srudents as well as the student union for a mandate period of one year.
