REWHARD − Research Infrastructure

Enables research on people's living conditions and health

Welcome to REWHARD

A national infrastructure for research on social relations, work and health across the life course.

REWHARD coordinates research data on how people in Sweden live, about their education, housing and working conditions, as well as on sickness absence, health and well-being. The infrastructure is a resource for researchers across the country and provides access to already collected data, enabling studies on how people's living conditions change over time and which factors affect quality of life and welfare.

Studies based on our data can provide valuable knowledge for society and help address challenges such as economic inequality, changes in the labour market, stress and mental health issues. The results can also inform public debate and provide authorities, elected officials and other stakeholders with a solid foundation for making well-informed decisions. In this way, we help research make a difference in society.

REWHARD is a collaboration between Stockholm University and Karolinska Institutet with partial funding from the Swedish Research Council (VR).
