The child’s right to art and culture

The course is offered as an elective course in semester 5 of the Preschool Teacher Program (LFÖRY).

The course is given in Swedish.

Children's culture can mean different things in different contexts. Children's literature, children's films, children's theatre and various types of media are a kind of children's culture, while children's own creation, their play and interaction can be considered children's culture from another perspective. This course is primarily about children's culture as the art and culture that is created for children, especially for children of preschool age.
