Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions

Medicago truncatula nodule.
Applied and ecological aspects of symbioses and pathogen defence are discussed. The use of organismal databases to identify genes involved in interactions will be taught.
The course integrates lectures, student seminars, group discussions, method presentations, laboratory work and data analysis.
Teaching Format
The education consists of lectures, literature reviews, group discussions and laboratory project work. Participation in group discussions, project work and group education associated with this is compulsory.

Assessment
Individual duggor for each week of lectures, literature discussions, oral presentations of research project results and written presentations of research project results will all be graded. Participation in all parts of the course with the exception of lectures is mandatory (but participation in lectures is highly recommended).
