Degree Project in Biology
During the degree project you will gain deeper theoretical knowledge within part of the biological subject area and learn to work independently on a scientific question, usually within an ongoing research project.
The degree project is an independant assignment which results in a thesis. By most students considered to be the most interesting and rewarding part of their education, but also the most demanding as you put your previous knowledge and skills to work.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course.
We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course,
your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
