Speciation and Extinctions in Time and Space, Introductory Course

How and why are new species formed? And why do other species become extinct? Ever since Darwin formulated his ideas scientists have tried to explain this.

This course examines genetics, plate tectonics, ethology, climatology, behavioral ecology and environment in an attempt to answer these questions.
