Internet of Things Services

The course covers development of applications, services, and design of communication between clients and interfaces to Internet of Things (IoT) architectures.

The course provides an understanding of the design process regarding new communication systems that is specially designed for new context-based IoT applications. The student also get an understanding of the integration of smart objects for IoT.



Teaching Format

The teaching consists of lectures, laboratory sessions and seminars. 

The lectures will give a more theoretical background while the project works and laboratory exercises are meant to provide a more practical view of the subject.


Assessment

The course is examined as follows: 

  • project assignments
  • written assignments

Examiner


The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
